Tempest Book Form

There is always something very moving about coming across a book that has a damaged spine, lost its cover and has a bewildered look about it. This latest ‘poem house’ considers those lost souls of books by gathering them together rather than mending them. It consists of my own writing and scribbles with paint, some ‘found’ pages and objects that tell their own story and so contribute to the final book form. These battered book forms are particularly affecting as they are easily overlooked and discarded but their stories are poignant if we stop and read them.
