The book leaves its cover….and returns…

As yet,this piece does not have a title, even though Walter Scott is kind enough to suggest one. His novel is concerned with home comings and exile and these ideas are embedded literally and metaphorically in the papers trying to escape or return to the book. Liminality as a theme finds its way into my writing : my poem that forms part of this construction considers the drift between past and present and the puzzle of absolutes in an ever expanding universe.
