Over the Wall with June Fever and more than a touch of Faery…

The arrival of midsummer was accompanied by nimbostratus cloud that dropped to pink as we walked the paths and read before returning to the quiet of the Peach House to write.
A very warm thank you to Tracee and Ben from Burton upon Trent, Chris from Stafford and Fiona and Peter from Llangollen for joining me at Sugnall Walled Garden for the second writing workshop.
Yet more splendid writing emerged in the course of the evening, in between being wonderfully looked after by Al, who kept our respective muses sustained and inspired with delicious food and wine from the cafe.

A heartfelt thank you to the lovely people at Sugnall who support this venture.

The next workshop will be on Saturday 25 July when we will be exploring the history and the lives of the people associated with the garden as a way into creating character.
